One of Those '80% of Success is Showing Up' Moments

AAPN News 1 min read

For me personally, the highpoint of our Dec 4 2019 AAPN Mexico Leadership Forum State of the Industry meeting in Mexico City is my first chance to meet Nicole Bivens Collinson.

Nicole leads the International Trade and Government relations practice of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., and serves as managing principal of the Washington, D.C., office.

AAPN does not take sides on trade, but we've always opened our agenda to those who understand it. Nicole is at the top of the talent list and we need to hear from her during this time of extreme uncertainty on so many issues requiring stable trade legislation. For starters, here are her highlights:

NICOLE BIVENS COLLINSON
….commentator on trade matters on MSNBC and NPR.
….over 30 years of experience in government, public affairs and lobbying.
….crafting creative measures to benefit clients
….prepares countries, companies and associations for negotiations
….ability to foster dialogue among a diverse set of stakeholders to resolve complex issues in trade policy making and implementation.
….works directly with U.S. multinational corporations and associations, as well as foreign companies, associations and government agencies
….analyzes and monitors cross-cutting trade issue
….representing clients before Congress
….called upon by members of Congress and the administration to help explain complex trade programs.
….responsible for the negotiation of bilateral agreements with Latin America
….preparation of negotiations on specific topics between the U.S. and Latin America
