Technology and speed are hugely important to the apparel industry in the 21st century, and today two AAPN members announced their latest innovations in this field that are designed to be helpful to a wide array of companies across the supply chain.

AAPN member Gerber announced the release of Version 8 of their of YuniquePLM system,part of an aggressive software release schedule the company has planned for 2019. Version 8 focuses on functionality, usability, and configuration and includes a new and improved user interface. 

Many of the more than 100 new additions and features were developed as direct responses to input and requests from existing users, taking customer satisfaction to a new level.

Elsewhere, fellow AAPN members Lectra announced the opening of its Innovation Lab, created by Philippe Ribera, Vice President Innovation, Lectra. The Innovation Lab is located in the heart of the company's technological campus in Bordeaux-Cestas.

The mission of Lectra's Innovation Lab is to capture emerging trends, anticipate evolutions and enhance its future technological solutions to serve the fashion, automotive and furniture markets.
